19,840 SF OFFICE BUILDING SOLD IN NORMAL, ILL. FOR $1.1 MILLION
Normal, Ill. (June 9, 2023) – AXIS 360 Commercial Real Estate Specialists represented the seller and the buyer of a two story single tenant office building that was previously the home to Marcfirst, located at 1606 Hunt Drive, Normal, Ill. The building sold for $1.1 million. The seller, Marcfirst, a non-profit organization that serves to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities was represented by Michael O’Neal and Meghan O’Neal-Rogozinski, CCIM of AXIS 360 Commercial Real Estate Specialists. The buyer, undisclosed, was also represented by Meghan O’Neal-Rogozinski, CCIM, a commercial real estate professional and co-owner of AXIS 360 Commercial Real Estate Specialists.
The buyer plans a full remodel of the building, with Phase I taking place on the upper floor within the coming months and further plans to develop the lower level in the near future..
1606 Hunt Drive is a two-story office building, consisting of approximately 19,840 square feet. The property is divided into private offices, conference rooms, work stations and more, which have served the clients of Marcfirst for the past 20 years. Marcfirst has grown into a phenomenal resource to our community and outgrew this building, vacating it earlier this year.
The buyer has asked to remain undisclosed at this time; but has a tremendous plan for the building and hopes to continue to serve the people of Bloomington/Normal and McLean County in the same loving way that it has been utilized in the past two decades. The new owners are very excited about this new opportunity and can’t wait to share their plans soon.
